In Leadership Methods for Recreation & Leisure, students were required to participate in community volunteer initiatives. This document shares Laura's experience with the Pacific Animal Therapy Society.
This sample document is a midterm assignment for a course on Management for Recreation & Health services, in which Laura designed her ideal workplace.
During her time with Vikes Recreation, Laura acted as stage manager for the Vikes Nation Dance Showcase. Included here is a promotional piece televised on Shaw GO! Island that previews tap, hip hop and contemporary pieces from the showcase. Laura is featured at 8:00 minutes (with the mistaken identity of 'Keddy Pezlik').
